This was another war. At the weigh-in both boys weighed in under 78kg but looking at their bodies you would think Blake was fighting two weight divisions out of his normal weight.

Round one Lachlan threw fast strong leg kicks landing on Blake's leg while Blake was still feeling Lachlan out.

2nd round was another round for Lachlan as Blake was happy to take his time looking for the opening but Lachlan wasn't giving them up easy.
3rd round the action started to slow down a bit and both fighters were taking big single shots at one another. |

Round 4, Blake knew he didn't have much time left and picked up the pace. In the grapple Blake landed a nice knee to Lachlan's rib putting him down for a count, after trading a little bit Blake landed a solid right body kick putting Lachlan down for another count. Blake could smell blood now and moved in to finish the fight, moments later Blake got in the grapple throwing knee's looking for his target with one landing right in the sore spot ending the fightt. |
End the night Jason Lapin awarded Blake with Fight of the night Trophy. This fight will also be on Fox and you can see David vs Goliath, the modern version.
